If it is decided to play out until there is a winner, it is a MR3 (Max Rounds 3) so you will play 3 rounds on the side you are currently on than switch sides. You need to win 4 rounds of OT to win. The amount of overtimes is not limited and could take hours if it is that close.
RWS is out of 100 points and you could think of RWS as a percentage.
An average persons RWS should be 10, as there are 10 people on a server and its out of 100. If a team kills the other team, each doing 100 damage (no more damage to other enemies) and they win the round, each player would get 20 RWS for that round, the losing team, even if they do damage or kill a player. They get no RWS. This is were the RWS system falls short. You could have done a 1v5 retake but not have time to defuse, you would get nothing.
ESEA's HSP or Headshot Percentage works differently than most other 3rd party clients. In ESEA it is more counting a HSHP or a Headshot Hit Percentage. So it takes all the bullets you have fired, and calculates the amount of the bullets that have hit a enemies head.

ESEA for being toxic.
If a user reaches -50 Karma in ESEA and they still have that much at the end of the month, they are banned from playing on ESEA for a month, and their karma set to 0.
At the end of a match, you get to rate your self and your teammates on their attitude.
There is: Negative karma, Neutral karma and positive karma.
They ask to not rate players on their skill with karma, but only on their attitude. Most people do it on their skill.

Here is what after-match statistics look like, it only shows basic information. No real indepth detail of your performance in a match
ESEA you have a knife round to decide where you start. Who ever wins gets to vote what side they start on. They can do this by typing "t" or "ct" in chat.
If the time runs out in the knife round, the team with the most players will win, if there are a even amount of players left, it randomly chooses who wins.
ESEA is the same as MAtch making but a few things.
After round timer. After the round ends in MM, you usually have a fair amount of time to pick up other weapons or nades, but in ESEA you only have a few seconds. It sets up strategy for team to delay a bomb defuse so a teammate can get a upgraded weapon that is far.
Voice chat is completely different and allows people alive to play by them self without people back seat gaming. After you die, you have 5 seconds to do callouts. After that you are muted to all living players. But if other players on your team are dead, they can hear you so you can start talking about the next round.
ESEA supplies for every match. This adds both teams voice chat.

ESEA?
ESEA is a 3rd party subscription based service made by Turtle Entertainment Online, Inc. for Counter Strike: Global Offensive as well as TF2 (Team Fortress 2), CSS (Counter Strike: Source) and CS 1.6 (Counter Strike: 1.6). but its main focus and use is CS:GO.
ESEA servers are 128 tick servers (regular match making servers are 64 tick). You are placed with people around your skill level based on a hidden, more complex Elo system as said in ESEA's FAQ.
"Due to the extensive amount of time we've put into creating the sorting system based on Elo, we feel it is best to not show anyone their actual Elo number. We want to have the most balanced sorting possible, and displaying the Elo allows for users to eventually find a way to game the system."
